Course Description:
Immerse yourself in Belize as you practice field research. The ethnographic field school is partnering with Belizean institutes and associations in order to contribute to an understanding of the culture of sugar cane farmers in Orange Walk District village communities. Our community partners will use our results and recommendations to develop and conduct workshops for farmers on agricultural techniques, economics, health, and other community development tactics.

None

Physical Activity Requirements:
Expect to walk 4-6 miles on most days. Activities will take place in the summer in a tropical climate students should be prepared for this environment.Breathableclosed-toed hiking shoes are a required.
