PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Go “down under” with CCSA on our Australia Summer Program, experiencing the fresh air and magic of Oz just at the start of their winter. On this smallest, most temperate of continents, whose culture blends native, European and Asian, aboriginal and modern, whose flora and fauna are both diverse and unique, participants can explore the richness of a world apart. After starting in cosmopolitan Sydney, one of the great harbor cities of the world, home of the iconic Sydney Opera House and site of the earliest European settlements, we’ll travel to the purpose-built national capital of Canberra before ending our studies in metropolitan Melbourne, with its Victorian architecture, trend-setting performance venues and fairy penguins.

By combining this intensive study abroad experience with course-specific directed study activities preceding and/or following the travel portion of the program, students may earn three semester hours of college credit.

Please carefully read Program Details for additional information pertinent to all CCSA programs.

ACCOMMODATIONS & MEALS

Participants in the Australia Summer Program reside in local hotels. Accommodations are based primarily on double occupancy with occasional use of multi-bedded rooms; single rooms may be available at an additional price. Daily breakfasts and some additional meals are included in the program price.
