You’ll walk through the streets where history was made, from the plague hotspots of London to the pivotal moment in the fight against cholera. We’ll even travel to Bath to explore the Roman Baths and their ancient health practices before heading to Dover, where we’ll tour a wartime hospital carved into the cliffs. The course culminates in a tour of a modern British hospital, giving you a firsthand look at how public health has evolved over centuries and how these developments compare to the healthcare system in the USA.
This course isn’t just about learning—it’s about experiencing history, seeing it in action, and applying those lessons to today’s global public health challenges.
