Ann Andaloro is an Associate Professor of Speech and Media Production & Journalism at Morehead State University in Morehead Kentucky. Her fields of specialization are Electronic Media and Women’s Studies. Her research and creative production has a focus on feminism and television audience studies. She received a Ph. D. from Bowling Green State University in Communication Studies. Dr. Andaloro is currently the Director of Women’s Studies at Morehead State University. She received funding from the Kentucky Foundation for Women Arts Meets Activism Grant for the production of a video documentary on women’s role models in Appalachia. In addition she has been awarded three grants for Hopscotch House. The grants were used to develop a research project on the relationship of Chinese women and American women. She received a fellowship from The National Association of Television Producers and Executives for a National Conference. She received a creative production grant to produce the MSU TV series Hear me Roar. The program has aired for fourteen years. She has taught in China, Spain, Austria and Italy.

Course Description:
Everyone has a story to tell, and in this class, students will develop their own stories as they relate to the culture of England by creating audio and video projects on location. We will examine digital media as a tool for seeing, exploring, and expressing cultural identity. While visiting ancient sites, cathedrals, museums and attending concerts, students will document their experience as a participant observer during this historical time. You're invited to take advantage of this opportunity to develop your cultural competency and sensitivity in the process of documenting intercultural stories in England.
